General Liability Coverage
The optional General Liability insurance benefit to all NASO-ON member officials associations. General liability coverage is provided to the NASO-ON member association, its officers, directors, and committee members while acting in the capacity of an officials association, or as an officer, director, or committee member of the association. General Liability coverage also includes claims by reason of error or omission occurring while acting as an officials association or as an officer, director, or committee member of the association.

Directors and Officers Insurance Coverage
NASO-ON now features a competitive, Directors and Officers (D&O) insurance program for not-for-profit local officials associations. D&O insurance will cover the local officials associations, its directors and officers, committee members, and employees for wrongful acts. Wrongful acts include actual or alleged errors or misstatements, omissions, negligent acts, misleading statements, or breach of duty committed by an insured listed above in the performance of his or her duties on behalf of the insured officials association.
Two new optional coverage’s available to all enrolled member officials of NASO-ON associations who are assigned or would have been assigned (with proof of proper documentation) to officiate at a regularly scheduled activity.

Game Fee Reimbursement Excess Accident Medical
Up to $50.00 fee per scheduled game missed subject to a maximum of $500.00 per week with a $2,000 per official maximum payable per calendar year.
$25,000 maximum benefit coverage while member official is engaging in officiating activities, which include assigning, chain crew, and attending or operating officiating camps, clinics or meetings, during regularly scheduled sports or activities competition.

Educational resources are vital to the success of any officials association. Referee and NASO publish new materials on a monthly basis. Group discounts of up to 45% are offered to make these publications offered and affordable to your association. NASO-ON members often use the group discount rates to purchase publications for their members. They can then sell the publications for the list price and retain the profits for the association or they can distribute them as part of their membership benefits (often covered by member dues).
